Saturday, November 16 we held my mother's 80th birthday celebration at the Lowry House in Jackson, MS. It was an event marked with memories and surrounded by love.

Toward end of evening we surprised Dr. L Frances P Liddell with a check for $1,000 as donation to Locust Grove Baptist Church and also informed her at the time of the event that the goal was surpasses by additional donations!

Since evening of the event the giving has continued with family, friends and the greater community donating a total of $1,430!

Thank you all for making this fundraiser and celebration magical. And most importantly helping to preserve a vital part of African American history.
